1. Advocate Life

R Kovind, graduated in law from Kanpur college. He passed the civil services examination but he didn’t join and instead started practising the law. Working hard on it he was successful in becoming an advocate. For 16 long years he practiced in the Delhi High Court and Supreme Court until year 1993.

2. Ram Nath Kovind’s Posts

Ram Nath Kovind for a year (1977-78) has been personal assistant of Prime Minister of India Morarji Desia. Besides this he also has represented India at United Nations (UN).

Kovind became the 36th Governor of Bihar on 8 August 2015. He resigned from the post of Governor on 20 June 2017, when he was nominated for the post of President of India.
