Only four days to new year 2017. A shocking news for most of Indians hits the stands as, MS Dhoni quits from captaincy.

The news of MS Dhoni stepping down as the captain of ODI and T20 team was revealed by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) through a tweet.

This shocking decision by MS Dhoni came when Indian Team had to face England in ODI’s and T20I’s on 15th January.

However, the good news for now is that, MS Dhoni can still be selected as the wicket-keeper batsmen ahead of the series. Now, the most interesting thing to watch is; Will he get selected? For that we need to wait until BCCI’s selection committee meets on January 6.

To remind you, MS Dhoni already has retired from Test team, couple of years ago in 2014.

MS Dhoni led India in 199 ODI’s and 72 T20’s. Being the most successful Indian captain. He gave Indian many big title like, T20 World Cup (2007), Cricket World Cup (2011) and 2013 Champions Trophy.
